KC's Poem in your pocket.

Today we shared a poem in the Poem in your pocket event. It was fun to learn this short poem about Raindrops. The actions were such fun to do. Enjoy!

No we are not sleeping. We are are actually doing science. We are outside experiencing the weather. 

What are examining what the outside air feels like. Some us felt cool and others felt a little warm.

We are having fun watching the weather constantly changing around us.

Book Week - Book Parade

On Friday we came dressed as our favourite character from a book. It was so much fun to dress up and show our favourite book. We read some of the books. Have a look at how fantastic we looked.

Book Week- Sutherland Shire Library visit

On Wednesday we had the lovely funny Librarians from Sutherland Library come and visit. They showed us many of the books that were nominated for 'The Children's Book Council of Australia' awards.

We saw books such as: 'I'm a dirty dinosaur', 'KingPig', 'The Swap' and 'Granny Grommet and Me'

Grandparents Day.

Today we had our gorgeous grandparents come and visit us at school. We had such fun showing them our classroom and the work we have been doing. It was then great to get on stage and show them our song we have been practicing. It was such a fun day.

KC's Hungry Caterpillar Exercise Program Video

This week KC read 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle. We then looked at making up an exercise program to help keep the hungry caterpillar in shape. Here is a video of some of our fantastic ideas.
